Who We Are

Good Seoul India ("Good Seoul", "we", "us") is the retail brand behind a range of Korean street-food favourites, from Korean Fried Chicken to Corndogs and Topokki, sold across India through quick-commerce and e-commerce platforms.

This website is our brand home: a place to browse the range, learn how to cook it, and jump to a delivery app to order. This policy explains the small amount of data the site touches, why, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, write to us at info@goodseoul.in.

What This Site Does (and Doesn't) Collect

This is a static marketing website. It is deliberately simple, and that keeps your footprint here small:

  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
  • No on-site checkout or payments. We never ask for card details, addresses or phone numbers, purchases happen entirely on third-party platforms such as Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, BigBasket and Amazon.
  • No forms or databases of visitors. We do not build customer profiles on this site.

What does exist: the site is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived server logs (things like IP address, browser type and request time) for security and reliability, and the measurement tools described in the next section may record how the site is used.

Analytics & Advertising Cookies

We run paid campaigns to tell people Good Seoul has landed in India, and we use a small set of measurement tools to understand whether those campaigns work. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies, and they receive events such as page views, product views and clicks on outbound retailer buttons. The tools we use, or may enable, are:

Meta Pixel + Conversions API Measures our Instagram and Facebook campaigns, which pages were viewed, which products were browsed, and when a retailer button was clicked. The Conversions API relays the same events through our server with a shared event ID so nothing is counted twice.
Google Analytics 4 Aggregate traffic and behaviour statistics, how visitors find the site, which pages they read, and where they drop off.
TikTok Pixel Campaign measurement for ads we run on TikTok, using the same page-view and click events.
Snap Pixel Campaign measurement for ads we run on Snapchat, using the same page-view and click events.
Vercel (hosting) Serves the site and keeps routine server logs for security, debugging and uptime, not for advertising.

Each provider processes this data under its own privacy policy. We see campaign results in aggregate; we do not receive a browsable list of who you are.

Data Retention & Your Choices

We keep no visitor database of our own, so there is nothing for us to retain beyond the analytics held by the tools above, each retains data on its own schedule, under its own policy. You have real, practical controls:

  • Browser controls. Block or clear cookies, browse privately, or use a content blocker, the site works fine either way.
  • Platform opt-outs. Meta, Google, TikTok and Snap each offer ad-preference and opt-out settings inside your account on their platforms.
  • Google Analytics opt-out. Google publishes a browser add-on that stops GA4 measurement across the web.

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct and request erasure of it, and to raise a grievance. To exercise any of these with us, email info@goodseoul.in and we will respond as the law requires.

Children's Privacy

This is a general-audience food-brand website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Since the site has no accounts or forms, there is no mechanism for a child to hand us personal data, but if you believe a child's data has reached us through any channel, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

As Good Seoul grows in India, new products, new retail partners, possibly new site features - this policy will evolve with it. When it changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is material (for example, if we ever add features that collect data directly), we will say so plainly here rather than bury it.
